Matt Bottrill (www.drag2zero.com) successfully defended his National 50 mile title in Poole, Dorset, convincingly beating long-time rival Michael Hutchinson with Adam Topham taking third spot. Bottrill's time of 1:40:47 put him 2'13 clear of Hutchinson, showing that he is in top form in the lead up to the British time trial championships later this month.
